Database Contributers

Some of our largest research projects involve searching a large database of music for a match to a user query, these people help facilitate the growth of that database. With the addition of a sound booth in the lab, these students are able to record their own renditions of a large variety of songs.

Josh Moshier Research Staff j-moshier [at] northwestern.edu Josh is from St. Charles, IL. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northwestern in 2008, and he works in Chicago as a pianist and composer. Currently he is overseeing the performance database for TuneBot. He has provided multifaceted support at the lab, writing research proposals and reports, MIDI sequencing, preparing audio samples and facilitating research studies. She expects to graduate in 2011 with an economics degree from Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.	Michelle Kramer Singer Michelle calls Muskogee, Oklahoma her hometown even though she has moved around quite a bit. She is a Chemical Engineering major in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, and she expects to graduate in June of 2012.
Chulhan Song Singer Chulhan is from Edison, NJ but lives in Scarsdale, NY. He has an undecided major in Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. He will graduate in 2012.	Erin Campbell Singer Erin is an undeclared English major from Los Angeles, California. She will graduate in June 2012 from Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
